Data deletion
Version 2026-09-21 · Updated 2026-09-21
This page explains how to exercise your rights over personal data processed by NGCH SARL and how your request is handled.
1. Rights you may exercise
- Access the data concerning you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request erasure where no legal duty or legitimate reason requires retention.
- Request restriction or object to processing under applicable legal conditions.
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time.
2. Sending a request
Official address: contact@ngcafrica.com
State the subject of your request and the contact details used in your exchange with NGCH SARL so the relevant data can be located.
3. Proportionate identity verification
NGCH SARL may request only the additional information proportionate and necessary to avoid disclosing or erasing the wrong person’s data. An identity document is not requested systematically.
4. Acknowledgement and internal timeline
NGCH SARL acknowledges receipt and responds within an internal maximum of 30 calendar days.
This period is extended only because of complexity, a legal obligation or a need to verify identity. The requester is then informed of the extension and its reason.
5. Limits on erasure
Erasure may be limited where retention is necessary to meet a legal, accounting or evidentiary obligation, establish or defend a right, or handle ongoing litigation.
Contract files and accounting or evidentiary documents may be retained for 10 years after the relationship closes or the last entry or document, unless a longer legal duty applies or litigation is ongoing. They are no longer used for purposes incompatible with that retention.
6. Retention of other data
- Enquiries and leads without a contractual relationship: 36 months from the last exchange.
- Marketing: until consent is withdrawn or after 36 months of inactivity, whichever occurs first.
- At the end of the applicable period: secure erasure or anonymisation unless a legal duty requires retention.
7. Written confirmation
Written confirmation is sent after the request is carried out. Where relevant, it states which data must remain stored and the basis for that retention.
8. Complaints
After contacting NGCH SARL, you may lodge a complaint with the competent Guinean data protection authority in accordance with Law L/2016/037/AN.
